In addition to our well regarded corporate Transaction Services, we also offer a Legal Counsel Service
to a wide range of businesses, providing clients with the same benefits of readily accessible and commercially focused advice as would be delivered by an in-house legal team, but in a scalable and flexible model.

Our Legal Counsel Service team is comprised of highly experienced solicitors who have worked as in-house counsel, and in many cases have been partners, or held other senior positions in traditional law firms.

In order to support this busy and growing team we also work with freelance consultants who are talented and experienced commercial lawyers, interested in a flexible approach to their working life.

Our freelance consultants are based all over the UK, reflective of the geographical breadth of our operation and our continued growth plans for the business.

Consultants can work securely from home, or from our offices as and when it suits, and have full access to our support services and resources. They are not tied to working exclusively for Vialex, and always have the option of whether to take on a specific piece of work for us, making a freelance consultancy role particularly suited to individuals looking to balance work with other commitments and interests.

Access to our training programme is available to assist all consultants with the CPD requirements of their regulator, and our work environment, now typically virtual, is friendly, collegiate and team oriented.

We offer competitive consultancy terms to freelance consultants with excellent commercial contract or intellectual property credentials, gained from either in-house or private practice.
All consultants must possess good commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and be pragmatic and decisive.
