I head up our Vialex Legal Counsel Service and have been here since it was in its infancy.  I’m an in-house lawyer by background and instinct but I’ve also done the ‘Big law’ thing as a corporate lawyer (I was persuaded to go on secondment to a client and forgot to go back).  I have worked in sectors as diverse as civil nuclear, heavy engineering, high technology and fashion.

 My role as a lawyer is to facilitate business and not to get in the way of it.  It’s really as simple as that. 

What gives me the most satisfaction is seeing our clients grow and prosper, and playing a part in that.
