I am a member of the Vialex Transaction Services Team, which means I spend a lot of my time helping clients to buy or sell companies or businesses, raise funds to finance their growth, put in place equity entitlements such as share schemes and agree the terms of any significant projects such as joint ventures. I also act in a quasi-general counsel role for a number of SME clients providing general commercial legal advice and helping to find solutions to their day to day legal issues.
I always try to understand what drives clients in the matters they are seeking advice on, whether it is the underlying commercial rationale for an M&A transaction or the business strategy underpinning the day to day advice required. I hope that by building good relationships with clients and understanding what is really important I can also identify quickly what is not important and provide focused, pragmatic and commercially orientated advice based on that knowledge.
I really enjoy working with smart, ambitious and entrepreneurial people and the best part of my job is helping people like that start, grow, manage and ultimately sell their businesses.
