As an HR Project Manager, I deal with a range of HR and training issues for clients. There is no typical day or week but I can often be found advising on reward structures, conducting job evaluation exercises, carrying out recruitment and assessment exercises, reviewing client documentation, assisting with organisational re-structuring, delivering tailored management development training programmes and providing other ad hoc or specialist HR advice.
I work very closely with HR project clients to get to know their businesses well and to develop tailored solutions for them. I find that every person and company I work with is unique in terms of their requirements and also in the way they like to do business. To provide the best possible service that I can, it is therefore extremely important for me to build strong relationships with everyone I work with and to provide a friendly, approachable and professional ear at all times. I am often to be found on client sites and work hard to ensure I am a natural extension of their organisation, management team or HR department.
I work with a great team of people at Navigator and Vialex. Everyone is an expert in their field and focussed upon providing exceptional work for our clients. More critically though, everyone is approachable, has worked in the real world and knows the issues clients face. Being able to flex what we can offer and the way it is delivered is key for us all.
